His ongoing series on Schumann, including The Schumann Collection Vol. II, has further cemented his reputation as a leading interpreter of Schumann’s work.

A Legacy of Musical Dedication

Coming from a musical family, Nicolas began his piano studies early in life. He trained at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under the mentorship of David Kuyken and Jan Wijn, and received invaluable guidance from esteemed pianists such as Murray Perahia, Martha Argerich, and Alfred Brendel.
